Helen Appleseed

I took my camera to "work" yesterday to take some pictures of the orchard I've been working at for the past three weeks. I have actually had a great time learning about NY apples and meeting all the locals who come in for their apples, cider, and donuts. Here are a few pictures of the apple stand I work in and the wide selection of products we offer. All in all, the experience has been a stich.

The orchard is made up of 700 trees, just yonder beyond the fence.

I made this pumpkin arrangement. Isn't it breathtaking? Just a sample of my creativity~

They're delicious.

And a picture of me (and Dodger) at 5 1/2 months

I agree - you look absolutely fabulous. And your teenagers will be embarrassed by absolutely NOTHING so just do what you want. That's my philosophy. The orchard looks quite fun - doughnuts even! Are they good???
The scenery on your wine tour looks so.....scenic! Where is the last picture taken, with the river/ waterfall/whatever?
We can't wait to see you all - you, John, baby Pants and Dodger. Do you think Dodger will remember us???? I think you better start showing her pictures of us.
See you soon. love you lots. mom

I just wanna rub the heck out of that belly (sorry, was that inappropriate?). You look marvelous, and so do the apple slushies and doughnuts. I can't wait to see you in the near future. Lots and lots of love!

You are the best looking apple-orchard-worker I have EVER seen! We recently had our own adventure at a local orchard, complete with a hay ride through the orchard where the ancient tractor driver let us stop mid-ride and pluck an apple right from the tree. It was quite a treat. Anyway, I thought of you when we were there and when I told Zoey that you, her dear cousin Helen, worked in a real orchard, she just looked at me in disbelief! I think she sees you as a superstar.

Clearly the orchard job was MADE for you.

On a side note, I just have to laugh every time I see a comment posted from your mom. It says its from "brian", so as I read it, I am hearing his voice. But then, it's really not what he would say at all. When I get the end of the comment, I notice that your mom actually wrote it and it gives me a little chuckle. Kind of funny...

Hmmm, a signficant difference between the 5 1/2 month belly and the 6 month belly! Must have been those yummy looking donuts! What fun!
